Fe støberiet A/S was founded by Frantz Egon Johannesen in 1949 in Herning under the name Midtjysk Jernstøberi A/S.
By generational shift in 1981 the name was changed to Fe Støberiet A/S (Fe is the chemical name for iron -
but also the initials in the name of the foundry's founder Frantz Egon Johannesen).
In August 1994 Fe Støberiet bought moulding facilities from the former Holstebro Jernstøberi A/S
and moved the entire production to Holstebro.
In September 2003 the production in Denmark was closed, when Fe Støberiet A/S through our concern
has foundries in Germany and China.
By generational change in 2005 Jesper Johannesen, who is third generation, took over management.
Shortly after Fe Støberiet moved back to Herning, where Fe Støberiet today has
modern inventory- and office facilities.
Through our foundries we supply castings in all imaginable alloys to the Danish
as well as the foreign industry.
